zeke is proudly from New jersey, where he has been writing and performing original music for decades, on the local scene. He writes his music like a true storyteller. whether it be from personal experience or stories from along the way, zeke has a way of translating the emotion into music. The varying themes and styles of how he writes make it difficult to place him in just one genre. Growing up some of his influences were john hiatt, lyle lovett, Graham Parker, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen.
He has released 2 CD's, Played in Peoria and Surfing Thru Venice, both available on this site, as well as Spotify and Apple music.
With his 3rd CD to be released shortly, Zeke Carey , Back on Bleeker, Live at the Bitter End.
He has opened up for a number of National acts over the years such as Willie nile, graham parker and steve forbert.
Guitarma is the current project Zeke is working on. An All acoustic release with 10 New tracks.
